TenderSmart draws upon seconded representatives from the buying organisations, the eSourcing technology provider, Ariba Inc, as well as consultants experienced in running trading portals. The operation and development of the portal is coordinated by the Operations Team. This team combines the experience of experts in running eMarketplaces with people who have the day-to-day practical responsibilities of managing supply-chains and procurement processes. Ariba is the world leading provider of eSourcing software to many of the world's largest buying organisations including British Airways, Heinz, Corus, Motorola and Toyota. The Board is made up of the Procurement Directors of the shareholder organisations as well as consultants experienced in running industry supply chain portals.

Frederic Garat
MSc

Frederic is Operations Manager for TenderSmart, responsible for supporting the Buyer communities and developing portal technology. He has a Diploma in Business Studies from the Paris Chamber of Commerce Business School and an MSc in European Marketing and Languages from Edinburgh Napier University (Scotland). Frederic was a founding member of France's first B2B marketplace where he worked as Sourcing Manager. From January 2001, he worked as a Consultant for cost reduction agency where he had specific responsibility for implementing eAuctions at clients. Frederic joined AirportSmart in September 2004.
